well the progress is slow but steady.. some of you know what im doin some dont ..so i thought id show the progress for those who know or wanna know

polished aluminum removable inner fenders cut to fit the headder


coated custom built headders frame rail exit



stripped and ready to go get steam cleaned underneath


made use of jays winch


modified spindle's to work with the new steering extended 2 1/2"


rack and pinion steering from a mustang, shortened the steering column 4 1/2" to make gettin in and out easier over the roll cage door bars



beverage of choice

Hey man the guy that was supposed to get your timing cover, i have yet to hear from him, no clue what happened to him, if i get a chnce i'll go over next week and see him if you still need it

got all the glass out on friday night loaded it on the trailer again to haul it to the shop to have the rest of the cage work finished... then the box comes off the soda blasting will begin and to the paint shop it goes

I see you are making some good progress on the truck and I see you also had Jay to help you out!!!! Can't wait to see more updates on the truck and eventually the finish product

In the first picture you can tell it wasnt a work day. The 25 beer bottle on the work bench were empty.

you are right....lol i was just playin around with the buffer and autosol... the pannels buffed out like a mirror....

well hauled it down to the shop to have the rest of the cage put in, figured it started to rain 1/2 way there should have used the enclosed ...i took a couple pics 79 looks so small compared to the tow vehical.... lol it drops down a good 3" up front once the driveline is in too
