If you are familiar with other bulletin board systems that look like this, you may notice
a slight difference. The way messages are marked as read is a bit "stickier", meaning
that simply re-loading the page will not mark the messages as read. The way this board
operates is that you must close your browser, then come back in for this to happen. Why
did we make this change? As users, we found it frustrating to go back to the list of
forums only to find out that what was marked as read was no longer the case. With our
system, you can either close your browser and come back in, or you can click the link
below.
This feature will force our system to mark all messages as being read. Normally this
can be done by closing your browser and coming back in, but this is a way to do it
manually--anytime you like!
