I traded my 2000 Harley edition in for this two-tone beauty on April 27th, and it is #6258. Built with pride by Brandon (Showya) and the crew in Kansas City on March 12, 2003.
I have a quality tuner, JJ from Woodbine Motorsports, so that I can do it right with an SCT X3 programmer with a REAL custom street tune! Current mods include a 6# lower crank pulley, bringing boost up to 12#'s (from 6)! JLP Ram-Air intake, Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, Magnum Powers idler bracket, Metco double-bearing idlers, Rotorpros rotors, EBC Greenstuff pads, Develop-Mental Racing Panhard bar, Bilstein shocks and Hotchkis TVS (swaybars, coils and leafsprings). Previously JJ installed my Gregg Evans Factory Tech valve body with a deep Moroso transmission pan. There's nothing quite as suprising as breaking traction in 2nd AND 3rd gear in a heavy truck.

As of now interior modifications are a double-din Kenwood DNX-7100 installed in-dash, which feeds JL 450/4 and Audison 900.1 amplifiers to Polk Audio Signature Reference component speakers and a JL stealthbox containing a 12w3 subwoofer. Two words...BAD AZZ!

I love this set-up, cool box & lid, a smooth tube from the box to the throttle body, and a BIG scoop to pull air in from the bumper area...HUGE DIFFERENCE in sound (blower whine.) The installation was a pain because the instructions were useless..but I'd still buy it again!

I bought these rotors through a group buy on NHTOC.com! They drastically improved the braking on the truck, as they accomodate a more aggressive pad and stay cleaner and cooler. I chose the dimpled and slotted pattern because cross-drilled rotors are a no-no on heavy trucks like ours. They're zinc-coated (no rust) and the "hat" is powder coated, so they still look like brand new.
