Of course you will, which is what makes you a fringe-con... undying dedication to the failed policies of the past.

This leftist opinion of coarse, makes you the Prize Social-Lib of the week.... Congratulations! I hope you are as proud of your "label" as we are of ours.

Well OC, maybe the T. Jefferson quote went over some posters heads but"""
I am wondering why when points are made your comeback is look at what Regan did or look at what Bush did, those actions are for the history books and I am in the here and now and what is going on will affect my life and my family`s life for many years to come! Perhaps you can explain to me why almost every action taken by this government appears to be right out of Saul Alinsky`s "Rules for Radicals"? If you have read it you cannot dispute this claim, if you have not, please do! I wake up each morning feeling like I’m living in `Atlas Shrugged", this should also be on your reading list. You seem to be so proud of how this government is running things and quite happy to blame those who came before for their actions that you never seem to address the short coming`s of those in power for now. Believers that Mao was a great leader, devoted Socialists and Communists, Tax Cheats and outright liars just to name a few, if you are not concerned about this then something is very wrong! Or maybe that is what makes you a Wacko-Liberal?

Look, if you are going to use historical references in your argument how do you criticize someone for doing the same?
The thing is that Under the last two democratic administrations, there has been real Welfare reform and budget surpluses under Clinton and now real reform of our BROKEN medical system is a high priority whereas the last republican administration with control of both houses of the legislative branch for 6 years resulted in record deficits, and no action of any measure on the environment or healthcare whatsoever. Now if those policies or non-actions on the part of our federal government had resulted in less spending, bigger surpluses and a booming economy. Then you might be able to say that the republican way is better....
but guess what? it wasn`t and I am confident that after 4 years of this administration we as a country will be better off than we were after 8 years of a Republican in the white house.
That you see Maoist around every corner is more an indication of your own imagination than it is what is really happening today.
I wonder what literary analogies you can find for the 8 years of the Bush administration.... Heck for the first 6 years the libs on FTW kept on bringing up the moral of the Emperor`s new clothes... it was lost on most fringe-cons but the American voter finally came around in 06 and 08. I know this isn`t as impressive as your more intellectual references but I would argue a lot more accurate.

..."Well OC, maybe the T. Jefferson quote went over some posters heads but"""..."...
That`s some diluted insight you`ve got there. Just because it wasn`t addressed does not mean it was lost to those it was aimed at.
..."I am wondering why when points are made your comeback is look at what Regan did or look at what Bush did, those actions are for the history books and I am in the here and now..."...
The here and now is a direct result of the then.

Hard to believe OC, but you proved my point.
http://newsrealblog.com/2009/10/16/.....-a-maoist/
I could care less what any Lib thinks of Beck but his analgy is spot on here.
You seem to think that my every post is about Obama, again you are incorrect, I am speaking of the vile slime on both sides of the isle.
You also seem to think that I am Republican, wrong again, I am a Democrat.
You never seem to touch on the things you can`t defend, and there are many, for sure!
Just wondering if you are in the 35th District? If so maybe you should clean up your mess and improve one thing! LOL

LOL... since you miss the reference to where I am from in my FTW name...I can assure you that my congressional district could not be ideologically further from the 35th district if it was located in another part of the country.
That being said if you are a democrat that likes to quote Beck from Faux news then you might want to double check the platforms of your local candidates because something tells me you might have checked the wrong box in your voter registration card.

LOL, thats one good thing for you then!
I don`t believe or pay much attention to what Glen Beck puts out, but he got this one spot on to be sure!
Checked the correct box, but with this adiministration it is just too much, and "No" I do not believe this country will be better off in four years, in fact I feel in four years America will be just a shadow of it`s former self!
Here`s a few more for you!
Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.
Benjamin Franklin
"A nation without [secure] borders is not a nation."
- Ronald Reagan
“The problem with socialism is that you eventually
run out of other people’s money.”
- Margaret Thatcher
"Our democracy will cease to exist
when you take away from those who are willing to work
and give to those who would not."
- Thomas Jefferson
And here is the one that rings true now!!!
“When the people find that they can vote themselves money,
that will herald the end of the republic.”
- Benjamin Franklin

Most of us so called liberals were quoting those exact same quotes when the Bush administrations was bastardizing our bill of rights over the so called war on terror and while most of the country stood by while the Republicans with the help of a lot of Democrats allowed the Bush administration to step on long standing rules of law that were meant to protect our soldiers such as the Geneva convention and the UCMJ. Never mind what they did to the long standing rule of Habeas Corpus.
Now those were real and solid threats to our freedoms as Americans yet most conservatives stood by and some applauded these actions on the part of our last administration so you will forgive us if we don`t give the same level of concern to your perceived threats.
